You feel like starting a company ... Well, keep it that way! But how do you start exactly?

And can you get to know it in a fun way? Yes, with Innovation Station!

 

Within the scope of and& (an initiative of the City of Leuven, and& is a one of a kind summit & festival at the intersection of health, tech & creativity curated for the curious), the City of Leuven, Sports.Tech, Cronos, Victoris Lab and Sport.Vlaanderen together with BlueHealth Innovation Center, organize a single -day event to turn your entrepreneurial jitters into a concrete business plan.

12 hours, that's all you get on Saturday May 5, 2018 to come from idea to business plan.

During the day you will be well guided by a series of coaches who can put you in the right direction, but at the end of the day you have to pitch with your team for a professional jury.

Afterwards the winner will be announced with the best idea and the best pitch.

 

 

Which challenges?

 

These are the challenges around which you will work:

• How can we measure sports participation and the motivation people have to do sports? How can we get to know the individual recreational sporter?

• How can we motivate more people to do sports? How do we activate the couch potatoes?

• What would esports mean for the future of sports or physical activities? What technologies can we use to make sports more interesting, interactive? Or increase therapy loyalty in physical rehabilitation?

Who should participate?

 

Everyone is welcome to join as long you are passionate about sports/technology and have an entrepreneurial spirit. We would love to have you on board! We want to bring together people with different backgrounds: athletes, sports scientists, sports enthusiasts, data scientists, engineers, ICT, user experience experts, marketeers, business people, legal people, (bio)medical sciences, researchers, PhD’s …

We are looking for students as well as professionals.

You will discover new insights and meet a lot of interesting people. You will learn how you can transform an idea into a working business plan. You will be amazed of yourself. It even can be the kick off from your own start-up.

How to register?

During the registration we ask you to fill in some questions. Based on your answers you will be divided into teams. And in that team, you will work all day to finally come up with a pitch of your idea. How you do this is entirely up to you. In any case, it is an extremely instructive, inspiring and pleasant experience.
